I was hired in secret by a friend of this dog's owners to make some portraits as a wedding gift. I felt so lucky to have been given this task on a beautiful September day with a very nice man and really sweet dog!
Barnes portrait session
I was just filing away this finished job and found myself lingering over one portrait. This girl was so easy to photograph she made my job easy. And Barnes Common was perfect for me, lovely wild tangles and dappled light everywhere.
Rendlesham Forest
Along the UFO trail in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk. No alien sitings but endless scenes of beautiful trees and ferns.
Annie's first birthday
I took this picture on Annie's first birthday. Today she is EIGHT! Happy birthday to my little bear!! I love you. xx
Chilled Mylo
Revisiting my pictures from a shoot with Mylo the Akita. This dog stops traffic he is so gorgeous. Couldn't resist working my fingers into his lovely mane at every chance.
Brown labradors in Barnes
Had a lovely time exploring Barnes Common with brown labs Lupo and Tosca along with their human family.
Check out this boy!
Not only is this lab Codie handsome but he is clever. He has just finished his training to be a guide for a blind person but he's going to continue his training so that he can assist a person who is blind and deaf. Amazing dog--good luck Codie.
Daisy at ten weeks
This little puppy sat for me in her home on Cornwall Terrace, London where she lives with three other puppies. This is one happy house!
Marvellous Mabel
Such a pleasure to photograph Mabel in Walton-on-Thames. Love my dogs.
Morning scene
Another timeless scene from a morning in Regents Park. Thank you Daisy for making me see so much.
(smiley) Miley
Had the pleasure of photographing this lovely dog Miley in Connecticut last week. It was a drizzly morning but it didn't stop any of us from smiling!
Ike the puppy
Had a great time with puppy Ike this morning. I think this was the only moment he stopped moving!
My pictures are up!
Very happy to report that a small selection of my photos are on display at Soho Printstore at 45-47 Broadwick Street, London W1F 9QP. Drop by and have a peek if you're in the neighbourhood--but be aware they're not open at weekends.
Meet Mylo
This boy was SO lovely and patient--and beautiful. I hope he got an extra treat after being such a good model today!
Cleo-patra
Couldn't resist blogging this one too. I think her name MUST be spelled with an "e" after seeing this photo.
Clio
So happy to be back with the dogs! Some foliage would be nice, but bare trees will have to do for now. Lovely dog, lovely owner.
Tree lined path
I made it home before the hail but not the rain.
Visitor
I had some company in my favourite spot today.
Throwback
As much as I am loving the dark and gentle solitude of winter, Regents Park is starting to look a bit bare, even by my standards. This picture is from the end of last June, when the park was at it's most joyous and wild--nettles and all. It's coming.
Winter scene
Regents Park was cold, quiet and still this afternoon. Winter is taking hold. So many romantic scenes.
